TITLE OF THE PLAY: Robin Hood

Scene 4: Robin visits Marian to ask for her help. She also tells him about her problems. They both decide to fight against Nottingham.
Scene 5: Robin, Aslan and Marian are riding through the forest when they are hit by Little John’s band. Robin fights Little John and he wins. They decide to unite their forces against Nottingham.
Scene 6: Robin’s band goes to Nottingham’s castle and there is a fight. Robin kills Nottingham while Aslan kills Gisborne.
Scene 7: Everybody is happy because Marian and Robin are getting married.

SYNOPSIS: In 13th
century England Robin comes back home. His father is dead and the Sheriff of
Nottingham and his men are frightening the people. Robin creates a band of
outlaws in order to fight Nottingham.
CHARACTER OBJECTIVES:
Robin: He
wants to take revenge for his father’s death. He is brave and courageous and
will fight for the poor against Nottingham and his men. He falls in love with
Marian and he wants to help her.
Aslan: He
is an Arab soldier. He was rescued by Robin when he was in prison. Now he is
his most loyal man, his servant and his counselor.
Locksley:
He is Robin’s father. He is brave and courageous and he dies when trying to
protect his lands.
The
Sheriff of Nottingham: He is Robin’s enemy. He is a tyrant and wants to get as
much money as possible to have more power.
Gisborne:
He is Nottingham’s most loyal man. He is evil and powerful. He wants to become
a sheriff.
Marian:
She wants to keep her lands away from Nottingham’s power. She falls in love
with Robin.
Duncan: He
is Robin’s loyal servant. He is old but has still courage and strength to help
Robin.
Little
John: He was the leader of a band of outlaws before Robin’s arrival. He is big
and strong. He has many followers and wants to recover his lands and
properties.
Friar: He
is one of Little John’s men. He is a Christian monk who wants to recover his
old church and food. He is old but very strong.
SCENE BREAKDOWN:
Scene 1: Robin
saves Aslan’s life while they are in prison. They escape and sail to England.
Scene 2: While
Robin is coming back to England, Nottingham and Gisborne visit Locksley’s
castle to ask him for more money. As he does not accept the new deal, they kill
Locksley and leave Duncan hurt.
Scene 3: Robin
arrives to his castle and meets Duncan. He tells him about his father’s death.
Robin swears to take revenge on Nottingham for his father’s death.Scene 4: Robin visits Marian to ask for her help. She also tells him about her problems. They both decide to fight against Nottingham.
